Phoned me and played a computer recodred message which claimed to be from my card provider, without telling me who they were. Told me that there had been suspicious transactions on my account and tried to get me to speak to them. I hung up and checked with my bank who told me that nothing of the sort could have happened. Fraudulent telephone call. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!

020 8144 3803 Windows computer virus scam. They (whoever 'they' are) have been using the same script for years. In fact, this number goes back a while. They con you into giving them access to your PC, plant a virus on it (supposedly) then charge you £100's to remove it. Just hang up & block the number.

Was called out of the blue about the crypto world trade centre scam, wanting to send me an email to get my funds back - sounds really dodgy apparently they are Virgin Tech - no website, I rang the number back, it connected to ananswerphone message but with no mention of the company. Alarm bells.

01223931099 rang with a very loud background noise proporting to be a call centre. The caller, with a strong foreign accent, alleged he was from sky refund centre; however, when I said ok in a less than enthusiastic manner, the caller hung up. This is most unlike any sky call centre I have experienced. I suspect it to be a scam.

This number called my home phone and I was not able to pick up in time. Immediately called back from my mobile and got "This person's phone is switched off" message.

Fraud the user of this number is posing as being from o2 and offering discount packages on contracts. They even sent me a txt with a pin code to access my account. This is a fraudulent call

Call received today (11 Jan) saying from they were from Amazon and did I wish to continue with my Prime subscription or cancel it. Simply responded by asking 'why would you as that'. No response, they disconnected the call.

SCAM Third Chelmsford number blocked today. They hung up when I answered but upon dialling the number displayed, was met with automated message saying CB Brokers or CD Brokers. Suspect it's the same scumbags who have been scamming my elderly mother for a number of years by signing her up for appliance insurance for appliances she doesn't own. They called asking for someone of a different name. I said it's a wrong number and they hung up. However it sounded very much like a scam call centre. After doing 1471 3 called them back and was hearing a recorded message about them being telly tube or telly shute. Never heard of them.
