SCAM Unusually, this was actually an English person on the other end of the phone rather than a call centre setting from India etc! The number rang my works mobile at 10:05 09/05/2023. The person on the other end spoke very well and professional, saying that they were calling from HSBC, and were making me aware of activity in my account that looked suspicious, that money was being taken out by an advertising firm. They called me pretending to be Windows support stating my ID had been compromised. They were very convincing. Got me to share laptop using Anydesk and also got me to run a WIN+r function. After they didnt call back as promised realized i had been scammed.
As soon as I dial this number a voice comes on to say that this number cannot be connected followed by another voice that says that calls are not being answered by this number - please try later. I used this number successfully last week but this week it has not been answered at all. I am calling believing it to be Natwest

SCAM - scam baiters who bought Sky number ranges and are cold calling victims trying to claim to be the ISP. Tosser kept calling me "bro". I first asked him to confirm my IP address (dynamically allocated) and he gave me something he made up - that didn't have all 4 sets of numbers. Sky have been asked about this and aware of these scammers.

Strong Asian accent with broken English, rude, spoke fast and clearly reading off a set question conversation board. Hung up and blocked

Purported to be from Sky tech department. They said that my computer whilst internet browsing had been subjected to monitoring by outside agencies. When I asked for her name so I could verify she was from Sky she terminated the call.
