Had some rude Asian man answer the phone who told me my loan application had been APPROVED......Interesting because I hadn't made one with 'Now Loan' I proceeded to ask questions...this irritated the idiot on the phone who SHOUTED at me! Two calls from this number with a recorded voice message claiming £700 has been drawn on our account to Amazon and further £2000 cash transfer, then a couple of number options to press to speak to someone. Needless to say, I hung up. Yet another time-wasting and potentially dangerous scam.

Cold-calling scam regarding "financial market investments", likely based overseas as the caller's proferred name did not seem to correlate with their accent. Nervous laughter and unconvincing denial from the caller when accused of being a scammer and asked if they were based in Kolkata. Avoid.

Robin called. Sounded foreign. Said he was calling from the call blocking and scam department. When I asked what company he was calling from he said "the national call blocking company limited" i said there was no such thing. Curious how this was 24 hours after "microsoft" called me and I told them I didn't believe them..... Told him the only legit call blocking was The Telephone Preference Service, and he hung up.

SCAM. Probably from the same source as 1656737322, a call to my landline. The well spoken, but recorded voice, told me that two suspicious transactions had been noted on my account (no introduction as to who she represented) and that I should take one of two actions. Either press "1" to cancel them or "2" to speak to a service advisor. I left the call open for ten minutes but there was no further communication from the caller. Why Bridgend exchange? I have no idea.
