This is an Inland Revenue scam. They sent me a robo-call sying I was going to be prosectuted by the Government under the guise of something I'd done associated with Inland Revenue. I wait for the someone to come on the line who asked 'How can I help you?'. I replied by saying 'You called me'. They dropped off the call.

Fraud Claimed she was the techincal dept of Virgin Media and that she could see that my internet connection was fluctuating and that she could restart my router to get a better connection. I told her she had called a business and which point she hung up.

Received a call stating from British Gas with regards to my boiler cover. Advised that I will be covered for £22 a month and asked for my sortcode and account number. This number is on documentation relating to a complaint letter supposedly from Bank of Scotland. No complaint made looks like it wants you to phone the number where I suspect charges will be incurred. It is a scam and the second one I have received. Address does not tie up no phone number like it on bank website letter unprofessional.
