had a call asking if i was plumber,(yes i am) can i help with a tap problem then gave me an address in local area. Called them back to clarify address and realised after searching number its a windup by faceless people with nothing better to do.

Applied for O2 as part of a online survey and got a voicemail a week later whilst I was in an interview, luckely I put my phone on airplane mode just in case. It won t actually be O2 it ll either be a franchise (over 50% of O2 stores are franchises) or more likely it ll be a third party company selling. This number calls me everyday at varied times, and has done so for several months. Occasionally, I answer, always with the intention of asking them to stop calling me, but there is only silence at the other end of the line for a few seconds before they terminate the call. Very sinister and extremely irritating. What can I do to stop this?

A Google search gives two possibilities, inkshop dot co dot UK and appliance direct-UK dot com.
