I received an email from Amy Pearce who is a recruitment consultant for sb millers inviting me to work for them. I Was immediately suspicious and a check on Google confirmed my suspicions. A Warning to everyone please check carefully such emails offering employment and if you are the least bit suspicious CHECK IT OUT FIRST BEFORE CALLING.

Company called Golden Charter trying to find out if I have got a funeral plan!

Called 4 times in one day! I thought about calling back but glad I didn t! I google every unknown number that calls me now. As of late, I am getting unknown calls every other day. I m not sure who I gave these details to, but no doubt at least my phone number has been sold to scammers and or telemarketers.

So pleased I found this site as I have had nearly 6 weeks of totally random calls from these parasites. Generally they hang straight up but really disgusting language used this afternoon. I phoned my provider and they have blocked the call their end and shown me how to do so on my phone which was surprisingly easy. Definitely worth calling your provider if you re as fed up as I am.

I have had approx 3 calls from EE and I am almost certain I will not be renewing with them when my contracts expires later in the year. Each call has had a similar style: Poor communication skills; talked at me, did not listen or answer my questions. Aggressive: I m naturally quite chilled and helpful but after each of these called I have been angry and proceed to block the number. Called Sunday morning claiming to be doing a health survey for the government. Told them i needed proof. Gave me a couple of freephone numbers to ring which also seem dodgy. having read this thread I ve no doubt they will phone again but forewarned is forearmed.
