Recorded message call this morning saying that payments had been made from my account one money transfer (£1300) and one to Amazon (£200), press button options at which point I hung up and checked the number on this site.

Very odd. Lady said she was doing research on behalf of a US charity into healthcare and no personal data would be taken. Asked how she got my number and she said it was 'randomly generated' by a computer. Very odd and certainly not into giving my views on our amazing NHS to a country that wants to bloody buy it off us!!

I had a phone call from 02922229992 clalming to be Eon, who asked if I wanted a 'Smart meter', they wanted my account details.... RED FLAG!!!!! Eon SHOULD have my account details - well, they certainly had my phone number. I contacted Eon and they told me to block the number it wan't them....! It was an automated message claiming to be from Coinbase. Claiming that I had been charged €1000 on my debit card. Then asked press one to speak to the dispute department.

This number called my home phone and I was not able to pick up in time. Immediately called back from my mobile and got "This person's phone is switched off" message.

The call was in relation to a card payment. The call seems fradulant as the card type mentioned was visa and this was wrong.

The caller with a strong foreign accent (possibly Indian) stated he was calling from BT Openreach about potential problem with my internet connection. So I thanked him for calling and hung up, as it sounded like it might be an all too frequent scam call.

Scam artist uses photos from pornsites avoid

SCAM or fraud. I was called by this number it was an automated call. Said calling from I'm sure it said Aviva fraud or something department. Re 2 payments made 1 to Amazon & 1 to somewhere else. So to confirm them by pressing 1 I did not do that & after 10 seconds or so it went dead. I only have insurance home/ contents & car with Aviva but done through a good insurance broker. I have no credit cards nothing to do with payments from Aviva to anywhere. I feel 100% this was a fraudulent/ scam
