Have never given out my number to anyone I don t know but since using comparison websites for home insurance these calls are coming several times I day. Different companies but keep having to block them.
It s spam you call the number and you get charged be careful they make out they are your phone provider.

This number called and said they are from the Accident Support Group, I've googled that name and it does come up on companies house. They have said they have got my details of my accident from Thrifty Car Hire (who happen to be who my courtesy car was from)

SCAM. Automated voice claimed to be from the national crime agency and had an order to suspend my national insurance number. I hung up right after that.
Synthesized American voice telling me there is a law suit filed in my name at the "local county courthouse" and to call back. Doesn't mention my name, or a date or location, so clearly a scam.

Potentially dangerous scam. Got a call from them this morning. In the most Queen's English claiming to be HMRC and stating that there is a tax fraud case against me. Threatening to issue a warrant and arrest me if I don't call them back... All hallmarks of a scam, not addressing me by name and going straight into threats territory.
