I used to work for Stellar (temporary after redundancy). It was an awful job that paid minimum wage with no bonus. One thing I can say about them is they are genuine partners of BT which you can see at bt.com/partners. The agents that call you have all received training of a higher standard than BT agents as they wish to protect their contracts and we actually did genuinely want our customers to get a better deal. I have been contacted by a Company called UK Loan Ltd, the foriegn gentleman called Richard explained all the loan details and even gave me a reference number and the number to call them back. He asked for a UKASH voucher for ?100, (this voucher is as he told me was to show that we are able to repay the loan and I would get it back with the money into my account) which I did and gave them the voucher number. A foreign sounding man introduced himself as John Parker and said I was due for refund of bank charges. I gave him my dob (I recently claimed charges and for a second thought it was genuine.)I would never give bank details and said so. I just said Lloyds bank(not true).He said his boss will phone me today. They called this morn and I didn t answer. Dreading the phone ringing now and worried giving my dob was a dangerous thing. He didn t swear but got more impatient as the call went on.
