SCAM: received a text message, allegedly from my daughter, at 00.54 in the morning which was 'hello mum, this is my new number. My old phone no longer works. Can you send this number a message on Whatsapp? 07706376356.' So I did. I then checked with my daughter, who confirmed that she has not changed her phone number. I have phoned the number twice since; does not pick up but does go through to an anonymous voicemail.

I was just called on this number. Obviously a computerised call as there was a pause before someone with an American accent spoke. Wanted me to confirm a purchase I had made for over £3,000. I put the phone down. SCAM SCAM

Convinced me my computer was under attack and he could fix it, which I agreed to as he had panicked me. Text from this number purporting to be from Post Office. Notification of delivery failure and requesting £1.99 redelivery fee. I suspect that if you click on the pay now button it will ask for card details from which to extract the fee. I have had it confirmed by the Company from which I was expecting the parcel and by Royal Mail that this is a scam. The html behind the website interface is http://www.w3.org/1999/html, which when googled separately does not exist.

I have just been sent a a suspicious and malicious warning message from this phone number. I have no idea who or what Company they represent.

Had all from this number did not answer as I did not know it looked it up and what do if d its someone Bolton don't know anyone there so now blocked

SCAM Purported to be from my bank concerning fraudulant activity on my account. Tried to get me to go to branch: rang off when I refused.

A robotic voice saying my card has been compromised. This number has called me twice in 2 days. None of my cards have been compromised. Clearly this is a scam!

Said he was a bailiff, knew all my information, I have an IVA so he said I still owe money and I said I will contact my IVA company and he said he will phone them and said the bailiffs to my door then hung up.

Caller asked me if I remember the car accident I’d had? Well, unless I’m concussed and / or lost my memory as a result of it … then no, I can’t remember it due to not actually having an accident. An Asian (oriental) sounding voice speaking barely understandable pigeon English. Readers can make up their own mind if the call was a Scam but in my mind the caller is already burning in hell in the eternal fire. Love and peace
