Got an automated voice message saying if I disregard the message they'll be raising a complaint against me. But didn't specify a company or who they were calling in behalf of, so I'm assuming spam.

SCAM Said they were from the technical department at Virgin Media, wanting to increase our broadband speed. Tried to get us to allow remote access to our computer and went very quiet when I asked if they had our account number. Also called 5 minutes earlier from 01916824597.
Had a call from this number on my landline at 5:30pm on Wednesday 26th July. Heard two voices on the line when I answered - one a lady who identified herself by name & said she was a local energy adviser (although this phone number is not local to me) but did not give a company name, the other a gentleman talking in a foreign language. Claimed i had a problem with my computer which i find very irritating as we get this three or four times a day.Measures should be made to stop these calls.
i live in the area where the call number originates from but its not from here its usually someone from liverpool or up north with crap about car accident etc etc, tried calling it back but puts you on hold with music playing and american voice every now and again saying your call is important please hand on if only people could find a real job rather than harrassing people on a daily basis

SCAM - automated call claiming that 'Due to unauthorised use, your internet will be disconnected' and to hold on the line to speak to a call handler. Caller with Indian accent claimed to be from 'Cyber Security Dept' that deals with security issues for all the service providers including BT. Starts by asking me if I have given my password to anyone and what devices I currently have connected. After giving her some bogus answers, I put her on hold and disconnected the call after 5mins. Definitely SCAM!

SCAM / SPAM Pre recorded message claiming to be from HMRC threatening you with arrest unless you press 1 on the keypad. I suspect the second you press 1 you will be connected to a premium rate call and end up with a whopping bill. Just hang up.
