Creditsafe UK. Claimed to have spoken with wifie (a lie). I told him so and he brushed me off, saying he would call again to speak directly with her. Told him not to bother but he insisted (quite a rude man). Just a cold caller using internet data to start unpleasant sales interview.
Cold call insisted there was a problem with our BT Internet, in 20+ years I've never had a BT line or phone number and have nothing from BT. The guy was quite insistant and rude when I told him so.

SCAM / SPAM - Alarm went off on a Windows 10 Laptop - multiple tone and could not be stopped.. With a message reporting to be from Microsoft, asking the laptop owner to not switch the laptop off. Laptop was being accessed by a external company. To call that number for help. Laptop cannot be restarted without alarm and message reappearing.
This call was offensive. Saying from Fraud Squad and unless I entered 1 (one) a warrant would be issued for my arrest. It was loud and gruff. I hung up, some might feel threatened and fall for it.

I rang Sky back using the official number on their website and they advised that there was no record of any outbound call about either issue and that according to my account notes, neither was due. Would suggest ignoring this call and calling back Sky using a number from their website.
