Scam call pretending to be Virgin Media
A woman with heavily accented English called me this morning from a number with our local dialling code saying the call was from BT and there were reports that we were having trouble with the internet. No problems at all and I said so. She asked me to try the internet, so I told her I couldn’t hear her very well. She cut the call. Funny that! I phoned the number and was told it wasn’t in service!!

Automated message when you pick up that says ive avoided tax of some sort and that I need to press 1 to speak to someone to avoid it going to court. After pressing 1 it just goes silent and when you call it back it just says persons phone is switched off. Im based in Wales and call is from Manchester so will assume its a scam

kept ringing, hung up. its a computer calling many homes at once, and when you pick up, if they have staff available they will talk. if no staff, the call hangs up and calls another 100+ homes. very annoying. if not a scam, probably selling junk or ppi that you wouldnt have bought otherwise. AVOID

Dangerous number, avoid at all cost. Some none speaking English wanker trying to tell his name was Jack, but seemed to take him ages to remember his name was Jack. I received a missed call from this number today which I didn t answer. They left me a voicemail which just said for more information press 5. To opt out of these reminders press 9 I have no idea who it is so I pressed 9 and it is now on my blocked list! So annoying, they all need to be stopped
