They claimed to be from a national student survey. They knew my name already and were asking for my birthday. They wanted me to participate in their survey. I heard a distorted oriental-sounding voice and all I could catch was 'bank' and 'payment to China' I think before I ended the call. A scam no doubt, and probably not from my local exchange at all.
