Recorded message from "Alpine Solutions" about my car accident. Sigh. They seem to spoof lots of similar Sheffield numbers.

Called claiming to be Scottish Power. I stupidly went through the security questions (address and DOB) as I am in process of leaving Scottish Power. He then said I had a balance to pay on the account and would I like to pay by card. I had suspicions though and said I would do it online - he asked why, at which point I was really suspicious and called up Scottish Power who didn t know the number, and said my account was in credit. I ve been getting calls from this number for a few weeks. Every time I pick up, there is nobody on the line.

I am getting 3 -4 missed calls a day from these people. I am ex-directory and on TPS so am not happy.

I received a call from a female telling me she had been informed I had been involved in an accident "Is that right she asked" I said bollocks is it [email?protected]@k and told her not to ring my number again! The number is - 02070239445

Have called me a couple of times in last few days. Left no message.

Claiming to be from Barclays about PPI however wanted 30% of the claim and was also fishing for other info like DOB

Said he was from an IT company that I had used recently, when I asked where he got my number from overrode my questions saying he had got it from a database and continued saying I had used one of there services recently. Told him my number was on TPF and he replied not interested and it didn t concern him what I was on. Very aggressive male caller refusing to listen. ended up telling him (very rudely) to go away and hung up

I was called on this number. I returned the call but didn't get through.

Called twice asking for a specific somebody, both very polite when told wrong number and apologised.

Nnswered straight away but could hear a call centre in the background, then a heavily Indian accented man calling himself George came on the line. I hung up .

I answered and did not speak for a few seconds, this caused them to hangup.

Block the number instead of unplugging your phone. That way, when this number calls, it won t ring and disturb you.

Received a text from this number with a link to a bogus paypay verification website to unlock my account only days after an attempted phising / fraud / potential theft exercise after using Gumtree. Links to Nigeria. Reported to Paypay.

Get calls twice a day,they just hang up very annoying as I can't walk very far

Received call 08.55 today, 02 Nov 2020. Pause on answering, then click, so instantly suspicious. Voice with heavy Indian subcontinent accent and unfamiliarity with English form ...

Anonymous in previous post :- IF these calls are originating from overseas, there is nothing the UK can do about them, and nothing the originating country will be bothered about...
