Computer driven voice response call + ambulance chaser.

This company have been working on recovering my ppi since 2012, on various accounts/loans/store cards. I have had no problems with them. They have settled 3 accounts for me todate and are still working on a couple. Great value for money as they do all the donky work for the fee that I paid them for.

Advantis Debt Collection, keep harassing me with different numbers, to try phish for info. I know for a fact I DO NOT HAVE ANY OUTSTANDING DEBT, so im ignoring their calls, they can do one.

Dialled 1471 on returning home (just in case I had missed an important call) and was informed that 07410973664 had called. As no message had been left I was curious to know who had called.

We answered this unknown number. Very odd voice. In fact sounded high Probably a wretched scammer

Definitely a scam. BT, Openreach, TalkTalk, Virgin etc., will never call you about a technical issue unless you contact them.

This number is one of a group that has recently called me and appeared to be a scam of some sort. I answered and waited before speaking any, and after three seconds they hung up. Indian sounding person said his name was John called claiming to be from BT and that our internet connection could be accessed and our personal information could be compromised. he asked me to go on to my computer and he will guide me through what to do. Then i Put the phone down.
