They called me from a Manchester phone line and quoted I was in a road accident. Just hung up straight away, more than likely a scam
Kirsty , an automated survey, called Oct 9th 2014. I am ex-directory and registered with TPS. I am also disabled and find phone calls very stressful. Due to my disability, I need my phone line available at all times but this call blocked my access to my own phone line! I hung up and then went to make another call-- kirsty and her survey on energy supply was still prattling on! Hung up again but again, the call was still blocking my line when I tried to call out. Disgusting!

Called me today, left a message, a foreign accent that could?ve been computer generated. James Anderson from HMRC said if I don?t call back they will take matters further! I don?t have any issues with HMRC, I don?t pay tax due to working part time and don?t claim benefits so know this is not a genuine call!! Don?t be fooled! The number comes up as Glasgow!

I spoke to someone at Homebase yesterday and they said that I would be asked to take part in a customer service survey, so I assume this is what this call was about. You can opt out by pressing 9, or just ignore the call and block the number as I did.

Had a recorded message saying I was guilty of tax fraud and would be arrested shortly if I didn't press one.
They called asking for someone of a different name. I said it's a wrong number and they hung up. However it sounded very much like a scam call centre. After doing 1471 3 called them back and was hearing a recorded message about them being telly tube or telly shute. Never heard of them.

Unknown Manchester number calling a TPS registered telephone in Berkshire. No message left so presume it's a sales call ignoring TPS registration or a scammer. Number now blocked.
SCAM they impersonate HMRC and say you have a debt and night go to jail. They try to make you log into your online banking.

I pressed 1 and a lady with an Indian accent answered saying she was HMRC and "how can I help you?"
