When I answered the call, the woman at the other end mentioned a company (I can't remember their name), they told me "I've been informed that you were involved in an accident that wasn't your fault. Is that right?" Clearly phishing. I asked "Who informed you?" and was put on hold. I was tempted to see what would happen next but decided to hang up.

I had suspicions though and said I would do it online - he asked why, at which point I was really suspicious and called up Scottish Power who didn t know the number, and said my account was in credit.
