Call was at 6.41am. I rang back - not sure if that was wise - there was a mumbled (male) response, something about 'delivery' was all I could make out even though I asked which company. Told them they'd called a wrong number and hung up, feeling uneasy.

This number has called me twice. Hung up when I answered on both occasions.
I have received calls from this number several times. When I answer it tell me the call was not important. I call back and a message just repeats that I am caller number 2 waiting to speak with a representative. It just repeats and repeats and I get to speak with anyone.
Said was from EE PROMOTIONAL team. Hung up as EE CALL from their contact centres and appear as an 03 number and not a domestic landline number. Caller was indian from their accent and dialect. Likely using a voip set up . Do not give details and hang up.

Funny how this is from the same dialling code as mine (01454) so obviously area-targetting, and trying to make it look genuine, like as if it's from a local bank.
