Please log in via https://paypal.case-id0223.com to confirm your identity and restore service. THIS IS CLEARLY SCAM AS THEY ARE TRYING TO GET YOUR LOGIN DETAILS TO THEN EMPTY YOUR BANK ACOUNT AS PAYPAL ACCOUNTS ARE LINKED TO YOUR DEBIT CARD AND THEREFORE TO YOU BANK ACCOUNT. BE WARY, DON'T CLICK ON THE LINK PROVIDED ON THE SMS IS A FAKE PAYPAL PORTAL.

Allegedly from National Crime Agency reporting fraudulent use of my National Insurance number . This was a pre-recorded message stating that unless I pressed 1 to speak to an agent , my NI number would be frozen .

This was a call to my mobile . As I have unknown number filter switched on it came through silent and straight to what would be voice mail if I had it switched on.. it’s a Fareham number and I managed to locate the address. It seems this is a marketing number for the sale of houses on that street. This would have been annoying without unknown call filter

We had 7 calls in one day from this number. They first asked for confirmation of address then started asking about direct debit and bank details at which point we hung up and didn t answer further calls.

Safe number: this is the number used by Apple is you ask for a phone call to verify your Apple account. It's actually in Texas in the US, and not Liverpool - it's a quirk of formatting. I know because I've just been through the system and dialled the number back to confirm.

This was a recorded message from an organisation claiming to be BT, regarding the impending withdrawal of a phone and internet account with them. I have not been with BT for a few years, so this seems unlikely to me. Is it dangerous? Possibly.
SCAM Pretending to be some trading company called Swiss 24, refused to tell me where they got my details ("various websites") and said they wouldn't remove them. I think they got the details from the Ledger hardware wallet leak, and it's presumably a scam to steal crypto.

Pertaining to be from UK Service Plan. They informed me that I had been with them since 2014. I am pretty sure that is not correct as I have never had any insurance other than makers warranty on any white goods. Anyway, they said they would send through those documents. Caller initially claimed to be calling from the University of Sussex, asking me to undertake an online research survey. Then they wanted our email address, and I enquired why was that necessary if the survey was online - all they needed to do was provide me with the web address. The caller later later confirmed they were an independent market research company , and continued to ask for my email address. Of course, I never provided it.
