Robotic voice claiming to be from HMRC saying I was being investigated for tax fraud and press 1 to be connected. No thanks.

01843296739..Automated voice call purporting to be from the Bank, obvious scam.

Caller told me they were from visa and someone was trying to use my card for something costing over £900. It said I should press 1 to cancel or 2 to go ahead. Its obviously nothing to do with Visa so I pressed nothing and hung up the call immediately.

They also know your address and try to say they’ll take money from your account. I didn’t give any details and kept saying I haven’t taken out any such item. Fraud A man with a heavy accent told me that someone tried to draw money from my account. He did not give a bank name or anything else. I asked him to repeat his first phrase that came without a greeting or any other polite introduction. Not his name, not an organisation. I interrupted him to tell him that I knew exactly what kind of fraud he was trying on me and he broke the connection at once. The number seems to be in the Manchester area.

Caller claimed to be from a company called Medical Health Services based in Bournemouth but refused to give address, saying I could Google it. There is no such company. He said he was calling people over 60 with a special offer on an emergency alarm device.
