It was a computer generated voice telling me that my card was being used for a £700 transaction. I ended the call and checked all my cards online. No such transaction so I took it that this us a scam.

07477 707231 didn't answer it as it's on a phone number that I don't use for anything or give out. Tried calling it back and it just says number not recognised, so clearly some sort of scam. I suspect it's the HMRC scam that's going around.

SPAM Would not state where they are from or who they are until you confirmed your details when I refused to confirm any details they company policy and hung up. Definitely a call center from background noise and when you call back the number goes straight back to that operater without company name total scam

Automated call claiming to be from you bank - said that they had 2 suspicious transactions on my account and to press 1 to speak to their team. I checked my account whilst on the phone and nothing showing up - so this is blatantly a phishing scam under the guise of your bank... beware

Indian woman called Jessie from Housing Disrepair Association. Told me I'd been reported as having damp in the home. Asked her what country she was calling from and what location which she wouldn't answer, she then wanted to know if I was a private or social tennant. Told her I knew she was a scammer, at which point she hung up.

SCAM Unusually, this was actually an English person on the other end of the phone rather than a call centre setting from India etc! The number rang my works mobile at 10:05 09/05/2023. The person on the other end spoke very well and professional, saying that they were calling from HSBC, and were making me aware of activity in my account that looked suspicious, that money was being taken out by an advertising firm. Automated call on 17th June 2022 saying from Scottish Gas. Can't remember what else it said but it said to Press 1. The minute I heard that I put the phone down. I am not with Scottish Gas anyway so presumed this is a scam call.

SCAM Said calling from my credit card, but no company name given, about unusual transactions this morning. Wanting me to press 1, 2 or 3 to speak to someone. Supposed to have spent £400 on Amazon and £200 on a western union transfer.

Caller said suspicious card transactions from Amazaon & International Company for £300 & £1000 respectively. Highly likely a scam!!!! However the above says it is a landline number?????

The organisation using this number are expert scammers. They already had my o2 mobile phone number, contract account number and asked me to confirm my address before offering a discount on my tariff. I was aware it was a scam and played dumb for a while until they sent me the text which would have given them full access to my account had I replied to it. After wasting their time for 10 minutes, I told them I knew they were scammers and they became very abusive, then misscalled my number around 20 times
