SCAM recorded message saying from my Bank that 2 amounts in my bank account and to call them by pressing certain numbers etc!!! Didn’t of course and put the phone down. I only answered as it was from my area, Oxford! They have tried before about 6 months ago. Be careful.

SCAM Asked to speak to me by name and then hung up when I confirmed it was me. Possible scam or fishing for info. Number now blocked. Also had a missed call an hour earlier from 02038077025 so suspect same people.
Had these call me 3 or 4 times but from 01527419014 only knew my first name said from Scottish Power I am a customer but have no debt The indian lady asked me for my full name and address to which I replied quotyou should have that in front of youquot She said I had to pass security and I responded quotIm not prepared to give any personal information over the phonequot we cant speak then ok you called me goodbye I then contacted SP via chat on my computer they told me not them block number Already had
I suspect it's a scam. I rang the number back and it was some electric voice

They then said "I never asked you to change your contract", I then said, I will stop you there and just tell you I am not interested, he then responded repeatedly, "GO FCK YOURSELF". I asked where my data came from he said "UKRI" (United Kingdom Insurance Limited) about whom he gave a lengthy description. I advised him that I wished for all of the data he held about me to be erased as per GDPR and DPA's right to erasure, he seemed surprised an I told him this was because it was all false
Call received at 9.30 today, didn't recognise so ignored. No message left. Probably telemarketing or some other annoying scam.

Coronavirus. Claimed to be from government updating records about coronavirus. This is the 4th call with this claim. They ask questions about vaccination and whether you have had the virus. They claim there is some government initiative to pay half of insurance claims relating to the virus. The whole exercise comes to a stop when I won't tell them who my life insurance is with. One call even suggested I make up a provider, so I suggested he make one up. Seems like a phishing scam.
Called number back twice and it went to answerphone on both occasions....now blocked.
