I have a Sky and 02 contract, different phones. I had a call from this number purporting to be 02 on my Sky phone; took me a while to realise! Offered me a 45% discount on my bill for 2 years with no catches??? Spoke in an Indian accent, very fast, so not easy to understand. Asked for my full name, which I queried as he was supposed to have my account records. However, not giving anything away, I did so but he misspelled everything. Two calls from this number with a recorded voice message claiming £700 has been drawn on our account to Amazon and further £2000 cash transfer, then a couple of number options to press to speak to someone. Needless to say, I hung up. Yet another time-wasting and potentially dangerous scam.

This number appears as from 'Russian Federation Kemerovo Region', according to this website. No links to Russia so blocked and would suggest highly suspicious.

Scammer claiming to be from O2, offering to reduce my bill by 30%. Didn't confirm my name, if it matches the account holder name, or any account details besides the phone number (which they'd just called, so duh...). Just started asking for the verification code they send you by text when accessing your account. The one where the message specifically states not to give the code to anyone, even people claiming to be O2 staff... Probably not calling from Edinburgh either, probably a spoofed number.

After applying for a loan this company rang me multiple times a day i asked them to call me back after 6pm the first time as i was working and did want to see if they could help me but the I had 7 calls off the in 3 hours NOT one after the time I said I could answer, the following day the same company different number rang me 13 times between 10 am and 4:30 pm so i blocked those numbers, the following day i had a further 14 missed calls from this company off another 5 numbers. So far I am I up to 14 number
