A Scottish chap called to say he was from the Postcode Lottery and wanted to confirm details as I had not spoken to one of their agents. The phone then cut out.

Claimed to be from Prudential, selling an "all if life" policy. Apologised and rang off when I asked how they got my number, and pointed out that I m registered with TPS.
these are people from Ghana who want to steal monies from you they like to get older people who are trusting, they make claims about monies owed to you the get you to go to pay point and purchase a money transfer receipt, they then request the number from this saying they need this to send a courier to you with a check, by the time you realise you been tricked they have already got your money as they don t need the receipt, the likelihood of ever getting it back is nil,. they call at set times and the phone
