Had the same message on Friday, they wanted £300 then £200 for a quick fix, then £90 for a one off service. Turned the computer off and everything is fine now, Ignore the message and disconnect your computer.

I had the message on my computer this afternoon, called the number and spent 90 mins talking to someone about mending my computer, only to be asked for£199.99+VAT for a programme to fix it. I refused as I don't have that sort of money anyway. I have now turned my computer off, and disconnected it from the internet. Can I now turn it back on and connect it up again?

I missed this call but when checking the area code I found it to be from the Orkney Islands. I was not expecting a call from there and looking into it further it could be an accident claims company.
