Fraud, internet. Pretended to be from Virgin media. Wanted me to download an app to take over control of my internet to sort my "problem". Didn't know my name or any other info.

asked me to confirm my address which I did (but made sure to recite it at a speed/tone where if they have my address they can confirm but if they didn t they wouldn t understand me) was then asked for my date of birth and national insurance number! asked what it was about and was told I needed to confirm identity first, said no and hung up the phone.
Claiming to be from Sky. Saying that my router has been hacked and asking for me to switch off computer then asking me to press clt fn and window key and give a no. Did not do anything of the sort. Female caller very abrupt and rude.
