My policy is this - I never answer calls from private or with held numbers, and if a number shows up, but is not listed on my phone I still won`t answer the caller. My phone is for my use, not others to maybe scam call me.

Telemarketing Repeat calls no message
The call was about loft Insulation and was from A to B Homes. The caller wanted to know if my house qualified. When I asked where the company was based the caller terminated the call. I then rang back the number and a different voice answered. I asked for the name and address of the company and he replied 18 Walton road Southampton SO19 0JB. This is a residential address. The telephone number is a Shrewsbury number. He said he was calling from South Africa on behalf of A to B Homes. After giving a brief sem

Called to tell me that there is been over thousand pounds transaction on my account today, and I should ring in to stop the transaction if I have not authorized the transaction. I checked with my bank who have told me there's been no such transaction. Clearly a scam call.

Said they were 02. I don't think so if it was 02 it would come up as them!
Phoned at 7.15 a.m. claiming to be from Amazon, regarding £49 taken from my account. I asked what information she had about me... She disconnected.
Said some letter was forwarded back to the sender and there will be some legal action taken against me. I have no idea what this is about
Friendly number
Pretends to be from BT. They already have some of your personal information to gain your confidence. They ask you to confirm a pass code that they send to your phone or email which gives them access to your BT account and more personal information. They then try to get you to log on to your computer etc.
