Got a call from this number 01452 670702, rang it back being a Gloucester number as the mother has just moved house in Gloucester. Turns out it's the Claims Advice Helpline...

17 hours agoscamsters/ con artists/ fraudsters trying to get you to view some dodgy website. Pretending to be from the NHS saying "failure to do this will result in a fine" or something to that effect. DO NOT CONTACT THIS NUMBER . Just block or report to the authorities.Reply

A lady with a foreign accent telling me she was from BT Broadband and that there was problems with my internet. She said that someone was trying to hack into my computer and she was going to tell me how to sort it. I told her that I wasn't going to be taken in by her scam. I said I was worried that someone may be taken by her lies and wondered whether she could sleep at night knowing what she was doing. Automated voice in an American accent claiming that my internet would be cut off within 24 hours because my IP address had been compromised. I was instructed to press 1 to be connected with a technician. I hung up at this point.
