afaik I have never asked Unite to phone me with "offers". Very unhappy if they have actually been selling my details on or even if they are ringing me themselves as I did not opt in to receive spam, voice or otherwise.
very irritating. calls house 30 times plus per day i had to unplug, had to download call blocker to block to mobile as mobile rings 20 times per day!!!

Local caller
Repeated voicemail messages promising to call back again and again.... and again. Company name is indecipherable.
SCAM
Someone calling on behalf of "investment management" companies for ex-pats overseas. Couldn't/wouldn't tell me how they had my number. It was annoying and suspicious.
Claimed they were calling on behalf of my insurance company regarding the car accident I had been involved in. However, I am not insured as I do not own a car , I cannot drive either , when I told them this they just hung up rather quickly.
Silent call
Called by this number, ignored call and no message left. Probably spam but possibly scam.

NHS COVID-19 passport scam asking for a payment
"3) Scam artists. When you receive unsolicited texts and phonecalls, the vast majority of these are not from legitimate sources. Whilst they refer to claiming for injuries, in practice chances are they are just trying to scam people with upfront fees or similar, or at best are looking to pass on your case immediately for a referral fee, which obviously you receive no actual benefit from in terms of their involvement. All calls and texts referring to personal injury claims should be ignored. " http://forums
It rang, I answered. 1 second silence, then a ring on it... so I hang up... Probably telemarketing or something similar
