Received scam email allegedly from Santander claiming a scheduled transfer has been set up and to call this number if I didn't scedule this transfer (I don't have a Santander account).

He is speaking Arabica language and English. Please specially Arabs take care of that persons in that company they named themselves: Qasy, Asem, Ahmed and Ibrahim. 01189077601 called today totally silent before hanging up. Being a local call i dialed 1471 to see who called me. The number was in fact a mobile number being 074267249 in which case is has to be someone who is a scam merchant jumping on another phone line.

They said they were calling from HMRC adout a returned tax letter and that I was going to be prosecuted.

This number called me on 28.04.23. Supposedly, a message from my bank to inform that my debit card had been used for suspicious purchases. To cancel the 2 transactions and speak to an agent press 1, which I did. A woman with a very strong foreign accent requested my name, date of birth and address in order to make the cancellation. She then asked for my card sort code, which rang alarm bells. I told her that if she was calling from my bank she should already know that and I would ring them. She hung up.

Fraud, claim to be from an appliance company offering an extended warranty. When questioned could not name the make or model of the appliance. Clearly not genuine.
