Phoned telling me they had a cheque to send for refund of bank charges. Had my name and address, wanted my date of birth. When asked which bank were refunding charges just repeated UK Financial Services. Told me they would cancel cheque if I didn t give date of birth. I said that would be fine and hung up. Its time uk phone numbers were stopped from being given to overseas callers.

29 Oct 2021 - Bloody scammers wanting personal information and spoke with a forgein Asian accent. Told the F O and blocked them Reporting to Ofcom as I'm totally fed with unsolicited calls. This is Scottish Power and they don t leave messages. They have been trying to contact me since I told them I was leaving to go to another provider. When you try to call the number back the phone is always engaged. I must get 3 or 4 calls each day but don t answer as I have number recognition and don t want to speak to them. They can call for ever but they are wasting their time.

Scam call saying Windows computer reporting problems to their server. Do NOT respond to these people stop call or have fun leading them on, but do not do anything they suggest, and ensure line is genuinely free after their call.
