Wanted to talk about my life insurance policy but said it was an "AIG policy" which it isn't. When questioned on this he repeated the same thing once and then stealthily changed it to say he was working with my provider and AIG. Double checked and the two companies don't appear related. He then started on the spiel where he called it a personal policy which it isn't. Let him continue to waste his time and then told him the truth when he asked at which point he hung up on me. Total scam BS.

TAXES / HMRC number called with an automated message saying they were from HMRC and there were mixalcukations in my tax which could result in my passport being suspended, and to select an option to speak to someone. I Che ked tge number and it came up as Russian Federation Pyatigarsk. Don't fall for it!

TAXES / HMRC Recorded American female voice informing me that legal action would be taken against me for a non-actioned mail. I believe this to be a scam (though the evidence is circumstantial) and possible very dangerous!

I got a phone call from this number claiming to be from Microsoft. (Indian call handler) They said my computer was compromised but I don’t own a computer so knew it was a scam. I kept talking to them to waste their time and then eventually told them I’d be reporting them to police. She tried to convince me still they were legitimate. they sent me an email claiming i will be charged £375 for Norton antivirues renewal. I called them they said they will need to take me through the process of cancellation which involved me being on the computer to fill in the cancellation form. Fraud I believe this was an attempt to get my debt card information. I typed in the url filled up with an all red page telling me this was a fraudulent site and to not contact or talk to these people. UNSAFE SITE trying to get my credit card, social sec. info etc. It had the phone number 208-537-7505 which if you call it, get nothing but what sounds like a fake ring - No one picks up. The URL they sent in the text led me to the warning site. The text will ask if you used your card and the amt charged.
