Indian accented woman claimed to be calling on behalf of UK Government about access to my bank account. Wanted me to give her details of the account! Not a very good script.
Same officious voice that has called from different no.s beginning 777191 re Inland Revenue etc, threatening court etc. I hung up after the first few words which I think were fraud squad, got an order bla bla. I block these numbers but they keep changing the calling number.

An Indian voice, named James !, confirmed my details claiming to be from the Telephone Preference Service and asked if I was still getting unwanted calls. I confirmed that I still get these and he informed me that I needed to update my details with them as it was about to expire. He then asked if I paid by direct debit - at this point I realised this to be a scam and ended the call.
Green Energy but my call screening caught them. Don t who they are but this isn t the first time these pests have called me.

Always press 9 to remove from caller list but keeps phoning. When I connected I asked 11 times to be removed from their database they just kept asking why I didn t want the money I m owed. Asked to speak to supervisor told he was a supervisor, this needs reporting to ofcom.

SCAM / SPAM said they were from Visa Headquarters and that a payment of £600 had been made on my Barclaycard. I don’t have a Barclaycard and when I suggested this they hung up. It was an Indian man and the phone number is a Rugby code.

Called claiming to be Scottish Power. I stupidly went through the security questions (address and DOB) as I am in process of leaving Scottish Power. He then said I had a balance to pay on the account and would I like to pay by card. I had suspicions though and said I would do it online - he asked why, at which point I was really suspicious and called up Scottish Power who didn t know the number, and said my account was in credit. Fraud Automated female voice called my mobile, thanking me for placing my order with amazon, and that I have been charged $399! At which point i cancelled the call and blocked the number!!

A chap called Jamie called to update our tariff, saying he was from E-On, but didn’t have our bank details. This is odd as we put all our utilities on standing order. Even stranger as we don’t have an E-On account! Didn’t have a chance to challenge as he left this message on our answer phone.
Hi I was called on this number and on answering to my name the caller hung up. On calling the number the name Jean Christoph was mentioned in the voice mail message - very strange. I would like to know more as you are normally able to trace say cold calls from financial services.

My father keeps getting calls from this number on his mobile in South Africa. He is a cancer patient and in hospital... it has been going on for more than a year, they just keep calling. It distresses him very much. He only has the phone to call my mum when he needs her to bring something to hospital.
