SCAM: this number sent me a text message telling me to click a link to a fake HSBC bank URL.

Rung today from the above about "the road accident you have had" - except I haven't had one... Advised her that it was illegal to cold call to tout for business, she insisted they were Ministry of Justice permitted. This represents a new tactic in scumbag cold call companies operation. They employ “home workers” and install call routing equipment into their operators houses. That way the caller ID is of the home worker and much more difficult for blocking software to identify. This call was from a company claiming that my wife was involved in a no fault accident two years ago and was entitled to compensation. My wife has been dead for 8 years. They got told to F off.

This number called me twice on 2nd December - stating "THIS IS BT RINGING" telling me there is a fault with my Internet and asking me to do - this, that, etc etc.I said I'd ring him back which I did --- I tried and it's unavailable.
