Then he asked if I knew how to get an accurate one and he would help me. I asked WHY!! He then wanted the ping rate. Auto message started "Please hold........" I hung up. Getting realy annoyed at cold callers and auto callers. I am on Telephone Preference Scheme and they still call. Even after I tell them politely I am on TPS and to remove my number. Further calls from the same number I am less polite too. Sooner or later I may reach the stage where I will only have the last resort of blowing a whistle down the line to see if that stops them.

Unknown caller. when dialed there is an exchange message "The number you have dialed has not been recognised. Please check and try again." This seems to be occurring more frequently. It is now possible to make calls from another number look as though the call is coming from somewhere totally different, for example a call made from a Glasgow number can seem to come from London. Be wary. This experience happens on calls from 01506 674749 to 01506 674752 inclusive.
This number rang me at 1102am today, did not answer as I did not recognise the number, and it is not in my contacts list. Thought it was a scam call and I may be right judging by the search results.
