Definitely a scam. BT, Openreach, TalkTalk, Virgin etc., will never call you about a technical issue unless you contact them.

Received a call from this number from a man asking for my husband. Suspecting it was a sales call, I said that my husband wasn t in, and asked if I could help. He put the phone down. Have now saved this number on caller id as "Do Not Answer"!

Very rude, aggressive and annoying callers. Similar to most comments above. They ve hung up on me twice now when I ask them what they want. I run my own photography business and they seem to be trying to sell advertising. It seems to be an Oxfordshire number, with very strong Indian and sometimes west African accents. I answered this call as it appeared to be a mobile number. Suspect it was spoofing it s real number. Caller knew my late father s name, wanted to do a 60 second survey. I kept telling him that father wasn t here any more, and that I was moving shortly, but he kept asking questions about how old my washing machine was. I hung up.
