I found it strange as I don’t know this number so I put the phone down because it was a scam when I checked the number out it came from Russia

A message was left saying that recent letters regarding tax had not been answered and now there is an arrest warrant being issued. This message was left for my elderly parents who were very distressed about it. Their accountant said it was a scam! Disgraceful !

Had a call at 1221 today, 12 Jan 17 but caller left no message, so obviously a scam/spoof/marketing call. Tried ringing the number back but got a Sky Voicemail Service. Tried calling the number again at 1530 this afternoon, only to have an automated message saying the Voicemailbox was full & could not take any more messages. This number was used for a scam call supposedly from BT Internet. I think it is probably an ordinary valid number, Scammers seem able to hijack numbers and this is one of several received recently from other members

The person that called was an electronic message advising that an Amazon PRIME payment would be taken and asked me to connect with them to discuss. This I did not do and just hung up as I am NOT an Amazon prime member. I then placed this on my caller bared list using 1572. I rang the the numer and BT advised that the number was not recognised after I had entered 012551470. This phone number MUST be a phising type number.
