This number is not secure, it is scammers pretending to be from O2, offering a 50% discount off your monthly bill. Tempting, obviously. They say a text will be sent to confirm this, followed by another text with a code to activate the offer. They will then ask you to repeat the code to them BUT doing this will allow them to take control over your account and possibly other info on your phone. Something didn't feel right so when they rang back for the code I didn't answer but googled O2 scams. Beware.

Fraud A friend of mine had money disappearing from her bank account, she's Burmese and her English isn't so good so I looked into it for her. Turns out it's a company called Florist-world.com that took 2 euro from her account then took 24 euro every 2 weeks. I finally found emails from them in her spam folder, they'd somehow managed to get hold of her debit card number and were taking 24 Euro every 2 weeks, the last email said that amount was increasing to 44 Euro. After another threat they told me to press 1 to speak to the officer in charge of the case. At which point I hung.

Purporting to be bank security calling about an Amazon transaction and an International transaction. Calls 3/4 times a day using various local numbers.

these idiots said they were from Carphone warehouse the hung up - called them back, takes you to automated menu where i'm sure no matter which selection you choose this will pop you on to a premium tariff. Morons.

Called on my mobile, automated voice saying they are from my bank but didn't mention Which one saying they'd noticed large amounts coming out of my visa account. As I don't have a visa card I knew It was a scam. It was quite believable though. I might have pressed 1 as instructed

Felt suspect.
