Scammer purporting to be from BT
This number is not secure, it is scammers pretending to be from O2, offering a 50% discount off your monthly bill. Tempting, obviously. They say a text will be sent to confirm this, followed by another text with a code to activate the offer. They will then ask you to repeat the code to them BUT doing this will allow them to take control over your account and possibly other info on your phone. Something didn't feel right so when they rang back for the code I didn't answer but googled O2 scams. Beware.
Calling me about a PPI claim 7 years ago,? They insisted helped me get a refund (which they didn't) and now threatening to start legal action unless I pay them compensation. SCAMMERS TO THE VULNERABLE

Fraud Car accident Scalpers. Knew way more info than they should have, including names of other people in the house. Told them to remove me from their lists and hung up on me. Very aggressive when questioned, clearly a scam.

SCAM Substantial delay in the caller speaking as though I'd been queued in a call system. Spoke with a heavy Indian accent and call centre noise in the background. He asked for me by name, but immediately hung up when I asked for his identity.
It rang twice in less than a minute but as soon as I try to answer, the call dies.

SCAM The caller was a recorded message suggesting they were from a Londoon Magistrate and stated that if I choose to ignore this information then my National Insurance number will be blocked and stop working. After another threat they told me to press 1 to speak to the officer in charge of the case. At which point I hung.
Recieved phone call from 01483577441 at 1045am on Saturday 28th January 2023, Preporting to be from Amazon, stating they were witholding a payment of £700.00 As they suspect it. Asking me to press 1, which of course I didn't. This was a recorded message. I have never bourght anything of that value. This is a scam. beware.

Had ring me 2 days in a row. A man with a very strong Indian accent said he was ringing from O2 saying as a loyal O2 customer I qualify for a discount on my O2 monthly bill. SCAM called with an automated message saying that it's from the tax office and I owe tax and to prevent going to jail that I needed to press 1 to answer them. I haven't worked in over 20years so I don't pay tax so not even the smallest possibility that I would owe any. Also the tax office would never contact you by phone. Just and scam to steal money. Why don't they get a proper job.
