Warned of unusual transactions on my card including Amazon and international transfers. Unsubtle scam but using local number identity meant I at least answered the call.

I think this is a scam number. Recorded American accent saying HMRC and that a fine would be implemented and to press 1 to speak to someone. Obviously I didn’t, line then went dead !!

SCAM Phone sim swop scam designed to by pass the 2 step verification system and gain access to passwords, banking etc. Looks like a Birmingham company actually based in Karachi. Bit of digging on Linkedin etc confirm this and that is it a cover for many businesses including call centres. Tells you all you need to know.

Two calls within 5 minutes of each other from different landlines with an automatic voice stating a verification code. I was sent this after being sent a verification code from vinted.

Indian guy Said he was from EE trying to reduce my mobile bill, then asked how much Was I paying monthly. I replied you called me claiming your from EE you should have my account details there as you just called me ...He quickly hung up...Definately a scammer SCAM

Calling saying they were from Currys / PC World , accent suggested Indian caller, Currys / PC World do not have permission to call me - caller hung up when challenged on this. I suspect it was a scam call (your PC is infected with a virus type scam)

Called me to say there was a job available and put me through to another number who was going to give me details of the role. I was then contacted by a Carlo by WA with a pic of a woman The role was too good to be true, 30 mins a day, remote working for an unbelievable sum of money I told them I needed to think about it and they should give me more time to think about until next week. Another pretend "Microsoft Technical Department" call. An obvious scammer and the phone number spoofed. The call seemed to come from a call centre with Asiatic voices.
