SCAM Derek in a foreign voice from 'Virgin Media' calling about our slow internet connection over WiFi. We have 6 devices connected to it. He wanted me to use my mobile to download an app on play store called Quicksupport and he had a code ready to put in once downloaded. I did not do it and ended the call.

Got a phone call from this number. Unfortunately I couldn't waste their time or find out what they want as I was in a hurry to go to work, but the voice I heard was an automated male voice, I couldn't understand much apart from "you have ~smth~ on your name", might have been "fine". So, is it Carphone warehouse?..... Maybe. Is it a scam? .......Possibly. Is it dishonest?...... DEFINITELY!

This 4th time I have a call from this number. A man voice saud us calling from Vanquis credit card. He wanted me to confirm my name for security reasons. I said why would vanquis want to call me cant the write and how would I know its Vanquis. He the said if I say my email he will say my dob and I say my post code and he will say my home number. So I told him I do not trust people on the phone asking private information abd he just cut me off without explaining the reason or if they are going to write me .
