Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8438727xxx range... People did someone answer this number?

When told I do not accept unsolicited calls I was told that I should not put my details on line Then I the cut the call

When challenged the caller I received serious verbal abuse.

I received a recorded message telling me that an attempt had been made to use my credit card for the sum of £900 and that if it wasn’t me I was to press option 1 (there were no other options) when I called the number back I was told by recorded message that the phone was switched off.

Registered for Bitcoin for investigation before committing funds then immediately got a call from this number, not interested if this happens so will be closing account (number has tried twice in space of 15 minutes)

They are a PPI company, I work for a different PPI company and these people give the industry a bad name. The agent I spoke to was rude and when I asked for my number to be taken off their list she said it was not possible. I asked to speak to a manager, he said he could take my number off the list,but before he did he tried to push again for me to sign up to them. Block their number if you can or report them to the FCA or the Legal Ombudsman.
