I too received a call at a funeral at 1020 this morning about so-called PPI, when asked how they got a ex directory number, they were reluctant to answer their source. I informed them a complaint will be submitted for their harrassment, I have also sent a letter to the BBC Panorama. programme who are investigating companies under various names. We do not know anyone in the Middlesbrough area and the caller did not leave a message. We usually receive Amazon scams around this time so are blocking the number.

tried selling me "extra good sim card", claiming to be from VM, didnt go through the tpical VM log in [you now enter various digits of passcode with keypad, NOT by voice], poor english, noisy line, they have phoned three times in the last two days from the same numer, I have now blocked their call.

Scammers trying to sell telephone preference services to stop nuisance calls.. They have some of my debit card data and attempted to confirm security numbers on back for security reasons. When I asked them to provide a number I could call them back on, they were unable to provide one. Do not give any information to these people. This is a known scam.

Auto message started "Please hold........" I hung up. Getting realy annoyed at cold callers and auto callers. I am on Telephone Preference Scheme and they still call. Even after I tell them politely I am on TPS and to remove my number. Further calls from the same number I am less polite too. Sooner or later I may reach the stage where I will only have the last resort of blowing a whistle down the line to see if that stops them.

Unsolicited, left no message, and I don t know anyone in Wigan. Blocked because true caller can write or email me.
