Scam call pretending to be Virgin Media (broadband internet). Standard scam pattern. Voices/accents from Indian subcontinent but claiming western names ("Daniel", "Robert", etc). Presumably using in-country telephone redirection service so as to appear with 0161 prefix. Claimed "We are getting errors from your internet connection." Wanted me to download Anydesk software so they could take remote control of my computer.
Received a call from so called Jennifer on 07305 705575 and again from 07594 619283 introducing me to their website https://coinstats.app/portfolio/transactions/. coinstats.app wanted me to pay in a percentage of my "supposed fortune", that had been accumulated on this site unknown to me, so that this account could be re-activated as the money had been sitting there untouched for so long (3 years). So they asked for £800 to be paid in by bank transfer and wanted me to do it on the spot by giving

This number belongs to an adult male... He has been contacting my eleven year old daughter for a period of (almost) three months... I don't have all the details yet but I do know that my daughter is not the only victim of this predator. If this is as others say ..Everest. that company went bust in 2019 and is now called everest 2020. They still owe or Chapel more than 4k deposit back. I have had this number blocked since last year because it kept ringing and there was nothing there . It just came up again as a blocked call today.. and yesterday. It was not ghe number I had as a contact for Everest or Everest 2020.
