This number called and an automated voice asked me to confirm if my name was Nicolson (it isn t) when I clicked option 2 to speak to someone to update their records I got another repeating automated voice telling me the lines were busy and that they were calling on behalf of a company called Dorkies in Hardengreen. Hardengreen is about 10 miles from me. I did a Google search while listening to this automated message and couldn t find any company with that name or similar and hung up assuming it s a scam.

I have witnessed family getting harassment calls, invoices and debt collection threats from these stupid people. The magazine they claim to place ads in, is also aware of their scam and of course has no arrangement with them whatsoever. Called today said he was Steve from TalkTalk and my internet connection was about to be shut off for 15 days. He would send a new router and cable to avoid this. He was about to ask me to follow instructions to re-set router, etc when I asked for proof he was from TalkTalk. He hung up! Funny though, we are actually in talks with TalkTalk about a new router and seem to get scam calls right after we speak to them!

This number is being used by people who purport to have spoken to you and insist that you have participated in an advertising campaign on this occasion it was to do with police and schools. Completely untrue so please beware. When quizzed they put the phone down
