Called me on my mobile 20 October 2016 and in an Indian accent asked to speak to me mentioning my name. I said "No you cannot". He then disconnected.

I RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM A SCAMMER AND THE NUMBER ON MY MOBILE READ 0300 200 3300 SO I THOUGHT IT WAS GENUINE. NOTE WELL, HMRC DO NOT PHONE! DO NOT ENTER INTO CONVERSATION BECAUSE THEY MAY RESORT TO THREATENING LANGUAGE AND GET YOU FLUSTERED INTO MAKING A MONEY TRANSFER! If you are called by someone claiming to be from HMRC
