I received a call from this number today, it s seemed to be a poor connection or he made out he couldn t hear me. I man with a very strong accent (not English) yet goes by the name of peter asked for me by name when I said yes. He said I m calling from the bank and hung up. I expected they ( whoever they are) wanted me to call the bank at some unknown exaggerated cost to myself.

Dopey Indian scammer trying to tell me there is something wrong with my internet, running the same old short con of getting the innocent victim to type in random commands to show something is supposedly wrong. I received an automated call...the usual thing: press 5 if you re interested, 9 to unsubscribe from our database. For a change, I pressed 5 because I wanted to find out how I got ON their database in the first place. They rang off, but someone from "YouCall" left a message for me later saying that they would deal with my query if I rang back on 01902 440156.

Unsolicited cold call-when rang back "please stay on the line you call is important to us"-yep, I put the phone down and blocked the number.
