Honestly, GDPR was a waste of time, penalising honest businesses but scammers and thiefs are safe? Just don't pick up a number you don't know, why would your Insurance call you? They never do.

Claiming to be from my Internet service provider but could not give me any information to demonstrate that this was genuinely the case - didn't know my name and when challenged could not prove who they were calling from. Told me there had been issues with Internet connection in my area in the last few weeks and when I said mine has been fine they then changed tack and said they were calling to protect me from hackers. I cut them off and suggested my ISP contacts me over email if there's a genuine problem.

There is no point in reporting to the TPS or OFCOM these numbers that any scammer can buy. The telecoms company Gamma Telecom Holdings Ltd That sold this number also supply a list of phone numbers to call. You are on that list if this number phoned you. Best is to get something like a Panasonic KX-TGJ420E. And leave a Google Maps review for the telecoms company.

hello all same thing happend to me but i got though to the number in question. they claim it was all some computer error relating to tiny comuter accounts. all very convenient how many people will not have notests. i have been told that they have been trying to contact afected coutomers but when i ask why i was not contacted they did not have an awnser and had my name and adresse. total scam that shows your money is not safe in the bank

This was a recorded message telling me that a large sum had just been removed from my bank account. By this time I had blocked the call. I have no doubt that they would have gone on to ask me to do something that would have resulted in me being robbed. SCAM Pretty sure this is a scam. Text received supposedly from Evri - missed delivery, but following link to redeliver, the site requested card information and redelivery fee. On Evri website, Evri state that if you have missed a parcel, you don't need to do anything as a redelivery will be attempted next day. Scam. Beware. No-one contacting you should be asking for card details.
