International call. Shouldn't`t have answered. No-one there. ?Spam call?????

This 0191 671 2542 number keeps on ringing but when i answer they cut the line

Very rude and abusive woman called at 9pm in the evening. Started shouting and swearing at me and threatened my family. Refused to give a name.

Claiming to be from BT then changed their story to virgin

Foreign callers claiming to be from Accident Helpline. Ask if they can speak to person who had road accident. Last week I asked them to remove my number (registered on TPS), was told no. Spoke to a Manager who advised he would. Just had another call. Guy just hung up when I mentioned about last week.

Sick of this number calling how do you block it.

Just had a very intresting 1/2 hour phone call with these idiots. Strung him along, he said do this/do that, type in this type in that, of course I kept telling him I was getting all sort of error messages. He said he couldn t get into my computer, I eventually told him my computer wasn t even turned on, I had great fun. I told him I wasn t an idiot and he should find another occupation.

Rang this number back after getting missed call from what looked like regional STD number. Recorded message said ANS Nationwide and could not accept incoming calls. Telemarketer.

7pm on a Saturday night, you are having a Turkish bath

The guy rang about PPI. He had the wrong name for the number and when I pointed out it was a company number he wouldn t give up and said he wanted to help everyone. I told him I had no PPI and he still wouldn t give in. He wanted to know if I had gone through the claim before and I told him I have no loans or credit cards so then he moved onto whether I was sold PPI through a mortgage. I kept telling him my answer was no but he was very persistent.

Normally don t pick up unknown calls but the number was similar to one I was expecting so mistakenly answered. Think this was an Indian call centre and the guy rambled something about pensions. I said I wasn t interested. He tried to stop me from hanging up by saying it wasn t a sales call (?)... Something along the lines if pension release. This company phoned asking about finance so not sure if it was PPI or re-financing I was more concerned with telling him NOT to phone again and take my name of ANY list he had.....has phoned 5 times since and all silent calls.

Said they were from Windows technical support insisted I turned my computer on. When I questioned him how my apple computer was reporting a Windows problem he hung up
